Jackanapes Mexican Hot Sauce is a jalapeño lover’s dream in green. A smooth Mexican-inspired sauce with a tart, mildly spiced flavour, it’s made using fresh jalapeño peppers from Rwanda, Spain, UK and Netherlands, a mild green chilli measuring at 4K-8.5K on the Scoville Heat Scale. We’ve combined them with tomatillos, green pepper, cider vinegar, garlic and lime juice for a super fresh flavour that isn’t overbearing. All our ingredients are ethically sourced, gluten free and completely vegan and vegetarian friendly. It’s a great all-rounder, perfect for making Mexican-style dishes like a homemade salsa or dip with tomato, lime juice, coriander and red onion, or added to burritos, tacos or enchiladas (teamed with pulled pork is an absolute taste sensation). It’s also delicious with pesto-based dishes like pasta or salad, with scotch eggs for a fiery picnic, turning up the heat on a bolognaise or even splashed on eggs to liven up your morning.
